When you look at current demographics, you see that the majority will fairly quickly be non-white… and that must scare the crap out of those people who can’t let go of their xenophobia.
I pity the people who want to whitewash that mural… they’ve already lost (according to their priorities), and they don’t even know it.
I pity them… but that won’t stop me from condemning their actions. Thanks for providing this link… everyone should see it, and know that this is happening right now.

Agreed. They’re terrified, and they “should” be (from their perspective). But their whole rationale is wrong.
