My short story Three-Legged Bird is reprinted at ChiZine today. Originally published in Black Static, a print magazine in the UK, this is a story that perhaps many American readers haven’t seen yet.

For anyone who attended the class on Writing the Other which I co-taught with Nisi Shawl, this is the story I used as an example. This is arguably the most radically different protagonist from myself that I have written yet. It was hard work, but worth it.
